This is my second post about How to Format A Write Protected Mass Storage Device. This time I am going to teach you how to format A write protected External Haed Disk Drive.
Follow this Steps:
- Open start menu and click run
- Type diskmgmt.msc press Enter
- Right click on your HDD
- Point it to delete partition
- On the same page right click and create partition
- Leave as default
- Click ok. Done!
This tutorial works fine in any external mass storage devices whether your computer (OS) Operating System is Windows 7, Windows XP, Windows 8.
Now scan your computer and delete all threats that makes your USB devices having write protection on.
Now you should use your drive again! This method should fix your problem.
