When Google Nexus announced their Nexus 5 a very successful product that reached a mid gross capital in just a days or month/s, but definitely this will not surprise me who someone not to like to have Nexus 5  and Nexus 7 with it's quality Build, design and features

But as rumors arising for the upcoming Nexus 8, a Photo was leaked! A woman carried an 8-incher tablet, - this could be the Nexus 8?!

At this point, it’s really just a guess and rumor's until Google officially announced or "leaks" more details about the device, just like the Nexus 5 that happen to leaked before it officially unveil by Google.

Lenovo Yoga Tablet Review | The First Multi-mode Capable Android | Availability and Price in Philippines

Lenovo had just announced their new tablet on media event in New York about an hours ago. It’s first multimode-capable Android that comes with a cool design and a powerful build.


Build:

Yoga is powered by a 1.2GHz MT8125 quad-core, 1GB of RAM, Android 4.2 Jellybean, and a battery which is last up to 18 hours of multitasking. It also comes in two screen sizes - 8-incher & 10-incher.

They have both equip with IPS - a 1280 x 800 screen resolution, 1.6 megapixel front-facing, 5 megapixel rear cameras with a 16GB of internal storage with microSD card support that could be use up to 64GB.

Equipped with a dual speakers with Dolby audio, and USB OTG support with the ability to charge other devices.

 
Design:

In Stand mode, just rotate the side cylinder 90-degrees to allow the tablet to stand by itself on a desk or table. You can then change the viewing angle from 110-degrees to 135-degrees.

In Tilt mode, just lay down on a flat surface or area it will stand alone with  the handle that will give you enough inclination for comfortable typing or viewing.

Price and Availability:

The MSRP is $249 and $299, for the 8-inch and 10-inch. And will be available in the U.S. starts today. In Philippines this will available probably on December 2013 for the the coming holiday seasons treat from Lenovo. You may check it out @online stores or official Lenovo Facebook account and in all leading Appliance depots nationwide. The estimated price is around 11K - 12K (8-inches) & 13K - 14K (10-inches) converted into Php.

Sharp Windows 8 Tablet: 10.1-inch,Water Resistance Technology

CEATEC show in Japan, Sharp has taken the wraps off its new Sharp Mebius Pad Windows 8 tablet that features a 10.1 inch display offering a resolution of 2,560 x 1,600 pixels making it the highest resolution tablet running Microsoft’s latest Windows 8 OS. The hardware itself is suitably thin and light, with the rear of the device bearing a passing resemblance to recent Sony hardware possibly due to the understated camera lens in the corner. We'll let you know if Sharp has plans to offer the tablet to global business types.

This tablet is headed towards business use (which explains the optional stylus) and the extra resolution found on Sharp's first Windows 8 tablet means there's more space for your spreadsheets and documents. Sharp even provided a magnifying glass so we could get up close to those pixels.

Kicking off this week's CEATEC show in Japan, Sharp has played to its strengths with its new Windows 8 tablet, the Mebius Pad, factoring in a 2,560 x 1,600 resolution display. That puts it pretty far ahead of the current crowd of 1080p Windows 8 tablets, including Microsoft's incoming Surface 2. The 10.1-inch display is also satisfyingly bright - if we're honest, it's unusual to see such a capable screen powered by an Atom processor.

Starmobile Engage 9 Review

The Starmobile Engage 9 Tablet falls in the 9-inch category and personally I think the design here is done smart. The thickness, the subtle curved edges and the soft matte finish at the back makes it pleasant to hold. An Android with high 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS that give you a good gaming and functionality quality effect.

A minimalist design that looks premium on a size that you can easily store inside your coat’s pocket, I’m giving the Engage 9 an A+ for design.

The front is void of any buttons since navigation is done onscreen with the use of gestures. What you’ll see up front is the 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera, a LED indicator and the speakers on both sides. No physical buttons or touch panels means a symmetric look and for the untrained eye the Engage 9 resembles a digital picture frame.

There’s nothing at the left or right and at the bottom you’ll see a mini-HDMI port, microUSB port, Headset or Headphone input and a proprietary 3-pin port for docks and accessories. The standard USB port is used for charging and data connection. That is big because you can use any standard USB cable to connect to your PC unlike other tablets which requires you to have their proprietary cables. At the back is just the 3-megapixel camera and the Starmobile Engage 9 logo.

If you want a portable tablet where you could watch your HD videos and TV series, listen to your fave music, browse the web without any limitation then the Engage 9 is something I would strongly consider. It’s a very smooth and powerful tablet in a compact and quality package.

However, you most certainly want to do more with it. You can also want to check your Google calendar and my Yahoo! mail without having to launch the browser and visit the sites. Evreybody want a tablet-friendly app that would allow me to do those. Owning a Starmobile phone though will give you more mileage on the Engage 9. You can share your cheap 3G BIS connection when paired with your phone, and you will have access to your mail on a bigger display.

I would like to see the Starmobile Engage 9 succeed and I hope S.M would put in more effort into getting the much-needed functionalities to make their tablet compete with the Androids and iPads out there. I believe the Php7,290 price tag for the 8GB is just right for a WiFi tablet of this caliber.

Do not charge your battery
